STUDER
Manufacturer of grinding machines known worldwide, Studer has over 100 years of existence and as much experience in the design of machine tools with a high degree of quality and precision. Leader in the grinding market, Studer has an extremely varied catalog of cylindrical grinder . The company relies on a highly efficient R&D team, maintaining its status as predecessor in terms of technology, both on material and software level. It asserts its distinguished know-how in high-speed grinding and mould grinding by using A to Z automated systems. Fritz Studer AG is a pioneer in the introduction of Granitan S103 in machine frames, thus focusing, since the 1970s, on a material that increases the life of machines, absorbs vibrations and reduces assembly time. Relying on a global distribution network, the manufacturer offers a wide range of services (advice and after-sales service) via a hundred representations in Europe and Asia. The group has also developed the first CNC cylindrical grinder in the world in 1977. Today, Studer puts at the disposal of its customers different models of universal cylindrical grinding machines (for grinding medium sized workpieces in unit and mass production), conventional cylindrical grinding machines with electromechanical or hydraulic drives (for internal or external grinding on small and medium-sized workpieces), as well as production cylindrical grinding machines with a high level of adaptability. The Studer catalog also includes machines for combined machining operations to achieve grinding, hard turning, and milling on small and medium sized workpieces. Not to mention the Studer interior grinding machines which, as their name suggests, are intended for internal grinding works. These machines are famous on the second-hand market for their mechanical quality. After a complete checking in RDMO workshops, the accuracy of a second-hand machine is very close to that of a new one.
