SCHÜTTE
The German company
Schütte was founded in 1880 by Alfred Heinrich Schütte (1854-1936) and Bernhard Schuchardt (1855-1913). It was a trading company and was named Schuchardt & Schütte. A family business, it is run by the owners in its fourth generation. Managing partner, Carl Martin Welcker is none but the great-son of the founder of the brand. After more than 130 years of existence, the company
Schütte is a world reference for manufacturing high-performance machine tools. The company has always been able to keep up with the latest technological advances to integrate them to its products, which name spreads over all the continents. Besides its headquarters in Cologne, Schütte has an expanded network of subsidiaries and business partners worldwide. Moreover, it owns a sale service that offers a commercial range of foreign manufacturers of machine tools. Conducting a policy essentially based on the quality of its workforce, through a meticulous training process (apprentices working for the company represent more than 11% of staff), as well as on a long tradition of innovation, the German company directs its activities towards the needs of its customers. Working in close collaboration with its customers,
Schütte develops a comprehensive offer of machine tools, spare parts and services perfectly adapted to the reality of the field and the requirements of machining and free cutting businesses. The Schütte catalog of machine tools includes the classical
multiple spindle lathe, the
CNC multiple spindle lathe, and the
CNC grinding machine. Schütte also provides its customers with spare parts for particularly old machine tools, which might extend their lifespan. That's why Schütte machine tools available on the second-hand market are still highly sought after by professionals who know their quality and reliability.
